BIM provides immediate competitive advantage, better coordination as well as increased support for sustainable design, all of which can lead to better performing buildings. As structural engineers, we use BIM as a tool to better manage our client’s expectations and make it easier to design and visualize our structures. Our designers adopted Revit Structure as our primary structural modeling and documentation system. It allows us to more efficiently create quality construction documentation by integrating a physical model – for layout, coordination, and documentation – with independently editable analytical models for materials including steel, precast concrete, cast-in-place concrete, masonry and wood. We also have capabilities to deliver projects in Bentley BIM for our clients who require this platform.
