Pruitt Eberly Stone, Inc. recently provided structural design services for a 35,000 sq. ft. one-story Educational Center and Fish Hatchery for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. The building structure consisted of a steel frame with steel bar joist roof with metal deck sheathing, slab-on-grade, on shallow foundations as well as a shallow foundation for a pre-engineered portion of the learning center, and 12,000 sq. ft. of pre-engineered storage and maintenance buildings. The project has received LEED Gold Certification.
