Pruitt Eberly Stone, Inc. (PES) worked with Panattoni Construction to provide structural design services for a 160,000 sq. ft., one-story general purpose warehouse and shipping / receiving facility for the US Army. The building design featured steel frame construction and pre-engineered metal building. The unreinforced slab-on-grade had no elevated floors. The project design also included a 2,000 sq. ft., Arms Storage Room with concrete lid and a 3,000 sq. ft., Sensitive Storage Room. The project was designed to meet Department of Defense Minimum Anti-Terrorism Standards for Buildings as well as LEED Silver Green building standards.
